Our Founder, Alex Truitt
As a second-generation builder with over 30 years of experience, I’ve witnessed the challenges and pitfalls of the construction industry, from poor communication to dishonest practices. Starting with small renovations and growing into high-end custom homes, I’ve seen how lack of structure and communication cause most conflicts. The impact of COVID-19 has worsened these issues, but I believe there’s a better way forward.
Motivated by a passion for helping others, I founded True Building Partners to empower homeowners. After hearing countless horror stories, including my sister’s devastating encounter with a dishonest builder, I knew change was needed. My team and I have developed a platform that provides homeowners with the tools and systems to take control of their projects, aiming to reduce stress and foster a smoother, more transparent construction process.
